2012 started on a pretty bad note.
It's a pity that my first post of the year had been dedicated to my pathetic self-wallowing. Well, since when i don't.
So i think this place deserves a proper update, sorry blog to have fed you with excessive mundane emoshit ^^
GONNA BRING SOME SUNSHINE BACK TO THIS DESERTED PLACE YEAH. & CHASE THE GLOOM AWAY.

First up, i know you guys missed this and so have i, my spammage of the love of my life~ *sighhs in joy*

Whether you like it or not this trait is never gonna vanish.

One of the many reasons i have neglected this place is the addiction to twitter ohmymama i cant control my fingers from refreshing the teeny screen every other minute haha and its a wonderful platform to just rant at every random thing and even getting inside info for school work.
And, as cheesy and cliche as it may sound, it made me know that out there, some people do care. perhaps i just tend to seek these reassurances in life, be it superficial or not.
Especially during the first 3 weeks of school where bacteria work literally haunted us everyday. eating into our lives, and our sleep.
How we manage to survive those period, dont even remind me.
Its ironic that we could still breathe given the "no life" term we were branded upon.

After the project, there came more blows like the madly incomprehensable math topic. But Mr Khoo is getting crazier by the days how can someone alter his image so much in a matter of weeks.
Comparing the first day we met him and our negative impressions of him, are they even the same person?? I'm betting math is officially everyone's favourite lesson now ^^

I have begun to accept the fact that it's impossible to clear the pile of homework that, as if by magic, just refuses to stop refilling itself.
Now, i just feel as if my pace is always a few steps slower, constantly struggling to catch up with the real world. The moment i keep up, the more easily i trip and fall back further.

I know i've been a real ass this month to many of you. must have felt like punching me haha whenever i start complaining or give a certain look that you loathe. I completely understand cause i feel the same about me. So thankyou for the encouragement and patience you may have shown to me during this period of time. Yes Tian, being an introvert is kinda refreshing. Now i know why some people choose to just remain silent and observe, rather than be in action everytime.

I'm still searching, trying to bring out the old me again. & i'm gonna succeed (:

Are my expectations for things too high?
Been attending so many outings but none of them seem satisfying enough to me.
Either the feeling of awkwardness, unfamiliarity and superficiality.
Or maybe it's just me, with overwhelming amount of unnecessary thoughts circulating inside my head.
I keep searching for the "right" feeling.
What is with this thing about girls being paranoid abt the term "class spirit".

A completely different cip experience as compared to the others we've went to.

Thought 5 days was a killer for holidays when we first signed up but ohboy who would have thought it'll be much worse than i expected.

Gg home at arnd 11 plus everyday.

But i guess that's the only sadist part.

Helping with the backstage crew for the concert is totally an eye opener like really 0.0

You get to blend into the back scenes and secretly observe things, and more scary, people.

I got to know that, really, behind all the smiles and warmth that radiates from them on stage, lies quite an amount of superficiality.

Sure you guys have talent, but you're not like idols. Even idols don't treat others like that. Immature kids -.-

The above isn't meant for everyone though.

There are still kids who are undeniably innocent, polite and adorable.

No snobbishness at all.

It's the last day today, last day of steaming costumes that haven't been washed for 5 consecutive days omgosh haha.

Sometimes i ponder on whether i should be grateful for being in the Wardrobe team.

Sounds cool right you must be imagining us sewing the chio costumes and stuff and hell no all we did was steaming, hanging up costumes and spraying febreeze after every concert LOL

No cips is without sai kang.

Sad part is we don't getta interact much with the kiddos except when the come in for costume fitting or make up.

But on the plus side, got to hear gossip from the famous designer (cannot say who scully kena sue haha) and the wardrobe mistress. and their bitching about other people/celebrities :D

And playing with the *bling bling* costumes!

Hai mostly me and Huimin just stone though and even working on bloody hmwk yea it was that bad..

Gotta have lunch and poof go off for the last performance alrd.

More steaming though the clothes nvr seem to be straighter haha trust me ironing board is so much better.

Finally caught Breaking Dawn.
And boy am i astounded by the movie quality.
No kidding man, nvr thought i would be saying this but Part 1 was really captivating!
For once, *ahems* weren't mumbling and looking constipated all the time too.

We psycho-ed ourselves to think that,
no, money doesn't make the world go round.
it isn't the most important thing in life.
money doesn't equate to happiness.
Yet these days, it seems to me that only with it can i truly enjoy.
Celebrations.
Shopping sprees.

Zhangyong's house is awesome for home kboxing im telling you :D
Huge TV with youtube functions, great for having fun but unfortunately, not condusive for PW meetings haha we'll just slouch in the living room singing songs and watching drama.

I feel a sense of eagerness, rather than the anxiousness that should have kicked in.

I've got so much to say.
But again, i've got nothing to type.
haha. it's weird. so this is writers' block huh.
I just dunno how to describe it but i finally feel our accomplishment.
I don't liken it to a burden being lifted off.
More of, all our hard work finally consolidated in 1 pretty booklet.
Only now, do emotions soar.

It has always been like that. Stress and deadlines are our driving forces.

Had PW high tea at Sakae today to celebrate our dear commander's birthday haha. And of course the official completion of 1 month of work.
What's only a month felt like a year, seriously.
From 28 to 72 pages. Trust me, it's worth looking at your Draft 1s, it's definitely worth laughing at.
and from strangers to close peers. it's what i liked the most.

Today was also the day i witnessed the power of class spirit.
Not just 5c but 5b too (:
It's heart warming. (that's after the trauma and panic haha)

And last but not least, today marks the start of a new episode of home alone.
You ask why my parents are always leaving me in squeezy little Singapore and having a world of their time?
I guess they just have that recessive allele that most parents lack.
Not that i mind though.

It was the last day of school.
Yet, it's the beginning of much more.
PW. Science project. And preparation for next year. For the final lap, here in RV.
I quote Meilin, to think i've screwed my last, really last EOYSs.
It's a blot in my life no doubt, but i guess failures are a must to experience in one's life.
haha i think i'm depressing you all but time to face reality :/

The 10 months we've spent together has zoomed past, it felt like this year hadn't even officially begun.
And yet, the end always comes.
Everyday, i flip the pages of our shared diary, but still i don't feel the time passing. The days passing. My life passing.
5B'11 was, and shall continue to be a fun class, with loads of caring people.
I have faith we'll all still be in the same class. All 23 of us :)

Today was one that allowed me to let my hair down completely, to experience what it's like to be having fun.
Something i've lost touch of these few weeks.
The sunburn was definitely worth it :D
haha it's a pity that, having gone all the way down to the Botanic Gardens, all we mostly did was playing saboteur(?) and listening to YS's blasting of songs -.- haha
We're so close to nature. Yet, i didn't felt very embraced by it LOL if you get what i mean.
On the bright side, one word sums the picnic.
A.W.E.S.O.M.E.N.E.S.S.
Cupcakes, sushi, jellies, wedges, cakes, guava (completed with the powder lol), wrap with ham and eggs, chips.
You name it, and we've got it. Greatest picnic i've ever had!
Thankyou again, Shiyi, Shieuhuei, Meilin, Yousheng, Jiarui, Wanxi, Meiwen, Tiantian and Kailun for all the tantalizing foooooooooooooooooooooood we had today!

A treat well deserved.

We've finally surfed through the toughest tides of this year.
Nonetheless, there's still PW but it's a relief knowing that i can at least go on to the next year.
Though my results weren't completely superb, I'm proud to have thwarted my previous negative mentalities.
On Friday, instead of depressing us with evaluation of the murderous essay questions, Ms Lee actually gave us an unexpected task.
To write about anything, just anything not related to school issues at all in the span of one lesson.
How cool was that?!
That's what i love about Ms Lee.
Her originality. Her individuality.
That kinda reminded me of the purpose of "The Gallery" in Never Let Me Go.
To seek our inner voice through casual works, works not compelled nor constrained by topics and criteria.
It's time teachers realise that allowance of liberal thinking is the only way to stimulate and naturally display one self's creativity, not how, as of current, they so desperately over-search in us.
haha i was babbling about what my life may be like if i was to be born as a witch.
Not evil in that sense but J.K Rowling's definition of witches!
I always find myself immersed in this magical realm of HP. It's just so fascinating and i couldn't understand how people can watch the movies without reading the books.
Many a times, graphics aren't the perfect way to depict a scene. Our brains are more capable in creating them, even illusions that carry us away to lalaland.

Went to Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign cip located at a ulu place called the Singapore Flyer. Sense the irony?
No idea why the chose the location but the only thing that mattered was, our fortune just expanded by $20 lol.
And the fooooood. Candy floss, popcorn, yea i know geez again right, hotdog buns :D that we totally spammed.

Guest of Honour was Mary Tan omgomg haha first time seeing the President's wife face to face.
AND AND Sharan Au and Hossan Leong were the emcees! (spot them at the side?)

The flyer turned a pretty shade of pink right after the opening ceremony ^^

This mean guy Ben told us there's a one-for-one coupon that we can get for these heavenly indulgences BUTBUT he left before we could ask him for it. ZZZZ greatest cheater of all time LOL at least in jr's eyes :D

And, what a small world, we met Linda's sister! haha stroked random conversations and she realise we were in the same school, same level as her sister.
They don't really look alike lol.

Most of the time was spent waiting ohcomeon that's the traits of all cip but this is the worseworseworst of them all sia.
The whole duration from 3-10pm, our services were only needed for 2 hours top?

the irreplaceable familiarity

It's good to be home :) Omg so cool using my Dad's iPad to post now wheehehehe! My mum has been enticing me to go online shopping lol! I've really missed home so much, the constant encouragements received at home, the spacious living room and most of all my comfy bed and teeny room which is in a freaking mess now haha cause I've decided to repack everything but only halfway done. So tmr, when JSMT comes better not enter the dusty room heh.

only took one photo and look so cui -.- at least huimin still looks cute haha

Well being well trained RV-ians I shall reflect on my duper short stay in the hostel (inserts serious face). HAHA as if BLEH. Okay shall talk about the benefits and cons and help you guys analyze if you're planning on camping there for your A's!

Pros:
1. The lack of Internet excess during mandatory study periods really compels you to mug and, what else, solely mug -.- that is, assuming you don't bring your own broadband there haha
2. The reading room is not bad! Air conditioned and people are usually quiet. Kinda conducive for studies.
3. Accessing your room before lessons officially end is a privilege if you forget anything haha
4. The security is superb LOL for those who have tried to sneak in, there's access cards and all. And there's practically no thefts, not allowed to lock to door from the outside but our things remain where they are.
5. The food is surprising not bad! Haha damn important for me. There's certain variety of food served and there's fruits served every meal. Yep very healthy ^^

Cons:
1. The temptation of the bed right within your sight when studying in the room is far too much to handle. At least for me lol. I think I spent half my allocated mugging time in the bed slacking instead.
2. The chair provided ohgosh it's just too high and ppl like meilin with freaking long legs will suffer like hell lol, same goes for the bed that's too short.
3. Whatever rumors you've heard about the Internet speed in the hostel? IT'S FREAKING BLOODY TRUE. We tried loading music videos. We tried downloading songs. And we've tried doing our research. Almost died in the process wo de tian ahhh
4. If you're planning to stay, remember to request for a HIGHER LEVEL. We've got 4th floor and trust me, it's like no diff from living on the 1st cause we practically hear everything said -.- like really every convo and word and the stupid basketball matches cause the court's like right under our window.
5. The maintenance is damn slow (okay this is sensitive haha scully admin come and find me). When I first moved in, as usual lah my suayness, my side of the broadband just happened to be spoiled -.- feed backed right on that day and till this day, they haven't fixed it. Great efficiency ya.
6. During school days, it may be pretty noisy and some guys living in other floors (if you stay in the mixed block) talk like the whole block belongs to them. Worse still, they tend to prance around half naked -.- not that there's anything worthy to see lol.

Hahahaha looks like I typed I whole chunk of the negative side of hostel life but I may be bias lol so this source is not entirely reliable. Oh hell I'm evaluating my own points WTS. AQ anyone -.-
Alrighty enough of crapping and off to my wonderful, peaceful and worry-free sleep. Tmr will be a fun day :D

First school day after moving into the hostel and it rocks :D

When we moved into the room, we were welcomed by dirty floors and dusty shelves and tables WOW -.-

Went stocking at ntuc with huimin and went for dinner.

Okay basically awkwardness is expected but it kinda lifted after a few rounds of zhong ji mi ma!
Cause we were eating at Mac's in the industrial park(?), people got obsessed with doing dares at the fountain lol seriously funny.
Like doing chicken dance IN the center of the fountain, walking towards each other and hugging in the center, and many stupid actions hahahha man, 4A's so cute.
Kinda parted a while after lunch and then i think my suayness totally owned today. -.-

First, WSRT wanted to pool. Somehow, we got tempted by the bd girl to go kbox after seeing that pool wasn't very worth it. But realized that there were no rooms available till 5pm -.-

Second, went to basement again for pooling but there was no tables and the waiting list was so freaking long and the woman was so bitchy -.- lousy attitude seriously.

Thirdly, we couldn't go to anyone's house unfortunately hai.

Fourthly, finally decided on playing badminton at Gek Poh CC but there was no courts till 5pm again. 5 really is a special number today -.-

soooo we ended by savoring bubble tea in Gek Poh's Macs and caught up with each others' lives haha.
Missed this considerate bunch of friends :/
Life sucks now having to handling so much on my plate.
Anwww haha managed to sneak into one of the court and played for ~3omin.

TODAY WAS A GREAT DAY
yea rare words on my blog ya.

To kick off the day, we had the farewell breakfast for the US buddies, even though they're only leaving on Sunday and Ariana on Tuesday!
I bet she and her mum planning to spend the extra two days shopping ^^
First, there was a buffet breakfast. haha a low-class one at least!
But it's still loads of food, like shui3gui4, youtiao, hao gao, buns and siew mais ♥
It was heavenly..
After pigging out we started doodling on the white board HAHA which turned to playing hang man, EVEN CHINESE HANG MAN, taboo etc they are just too comical compared to us.

Speaking of pictures, we realized Ariana's mum is a perfectionist ._. about photo takings.
She will advice us how to pose/stand etc and just keep taking photos till she's satisfied!
haha yea there were picture taking everywhere in the room and finally got one with Ariana!
The BCA peeps are super generous in giving out chocolates and food hehe from Ariana! even a swiss knife thingy. and a box of poker cards. The gifts are just a weird combination?
And I realized we played on wonderful host on our side too, with the main buddies and teachers preparing wonderful customized gifts, like traditional chinese paper fans with their chinese words on it!!
How cool is that, even we wanted those!
hehehe left with a heavy heart, more of the thought of gg back to lecture :/
Skipped PE and half of econs lecture oh wells.
I'm definitely gonna miss them..especially when they remind me of the time spent in US. it's a pity we couldn't hang around together for a longer period of time.

The day just went by smoothly and we got our deserving ice creams at macs ^^
Randomly planned to attend a welcoming tea at YMCA with Lixin and her ACJC friends!
haha some introduction talk to YMCA organizing committee that had organized alot of cip events, including OCIPs!
Hmmm hopefully joining as a member (not exco lah) will enrich my life!

Just realized i made a lot of random friends today.

Wheee and we shared this dinner, fish and fries, and made of freaking wrong choice of choosing VINEGAR as the topping.
OMG it's like, when you just smell it directly from the bag, it's just like ammonia, a pungent smell just rushes into your nose and you feel the tingling sensation there!!

Yesterday night, instead of the uselesscrappedup math equations swirling around my fuzzy brain, I was thinking about the topic of LANGUAGES.
Do you know, that there's around 6,809 distinct recognized languages in the world today?
It's such an awe to think that people can find so many ways to express themselves.
How on earth do they manage to come up with those different cursive symbols and quirky pronunciations?
How is it that they just seem to create words and sounds that turn out completely dissimilar?

I've always think that being proficient in numerous languages is totally godly.
Look at me. I can't even cope with just two languages.
And they are probably the most common ones spoken in the world.
How cool is it to be able to speak in some exotic language like Quechua. or Jewish!
I recall the brain exhibition we went to in US talking about how children, if accustomed to various languages from young will tend to be more consummate in them.
And yea it's definitely true that we have greater capability in grasping new words or concepts at that time.
During P3 my chinese teacher said my standard's equivalent to that of p5.. now -.- i think my chinese standard aren't even on par with a P6's.
Primary school English lessons were so much different then.
I used to love situational writings, especially making up the ridiculous story plots! hahaha and recently i'm starting to miss writing Chinese characters :/
Those were the times when i really felt i was utilizing my creativity.
Now?! GP's a bore. Sure we associate ourselves with world affairs but seriously to me, what fun is there?

Occasionally, browsing through the previous works we've done, i realize how much the focus of our language curriculum has shifted.
And the immense amount of effort we've contributed.
Especially the researches we've done and chunks of essays.
I've never thought of deleting them cause it's just such a pity.
And imagine showing them off to your kids next time!
Here's one of my favorite ones ^^
A descriptive paragraph written in year 1:

The vast forest was like a perplexing maze. In the darkness, I groped around, hoping to find the exit. I stopped in my tracks when I heard a distant grunt. Heavy footsteps were approaching rapidly. Out of the blue, a massive figure blocked the meager moonlight that made its way through the thick bushes of leaves. Its muscles bulged as it grasped my cloak and lifted me off the ground effortlessly. I almost vomited when the monster held me up close to his face. In the place of a human head was a bull’s head! It’s the legendary Minotaur!!! Two sharp-pointed horns were perched on the Minotaur’s head. Amongst the messy chunk of hair, there were a few strands of grayish-white hair. Mud was smeared across its face and as it breathed, I could smell its foul breath. The Minotaur’s eyes gleamed greedily, as if he was going to have a feast tonight. It threw me down to the firm forest ground and dragged me vigorously towards an eerie-looking cavern.

haha nope, no chim words.
But every time i read this, i could feel the actual scene unraveling in my mind.
Man, how i missed reading bedtime stories as if i have all the time in the world.
Any nice storybooks to recommend other than cliche, romance novels? :D

According to ah rui and many more, there was a lunar eclipse today morning while everyone was zzz-ing HOW COOL IS THIS.
And i recalled how excited the whole world was, particularly china, during the solar eclipse last year.
And 黄老师 showing us the direct telecast of it and all the slacking during chinese lessons ^^
Random memories triggered by the littlest of things.

Speaking of eclipse, who wants to watch BREAKING DAWN?
My mum wants to watch with me, BUT HELL NO watching a romance movie with your parents is the worst experience you can get hahahah
Watched the trailer and hey,
Every single time they manage to make it seem like a must-watch, but yea you know how the film turns out..
Needless to say for breaking dawn haha with all the lovey-dovey wedding crapp.
Totally LOL-ED at the part where the bedpost was destroyed by Edward.
And there's 2 parts, aww come on.

I'm feeling freaking lethargic now after 5B's class outing at Sentosa.

Top facts:
Jr, xy and me were chiefs of the day for the class :D Making heavenly sandwiches haha guess it's really time to officially open my store.
Felt damn fit after the games, the usual vball and frisbee, but gained back the calories by dumping my body with fast food and guess what BK icecream again♥.
I finally swam to the little tiny island for the 1st time in my entire life!
GJ IS AWESOME- he is not only musical inclined, but smart, disgustingly good at math and totally has the sporty genes NO KIDDING.
Some (ok only one is hot HAHA) of the guys took off their shirts LOL and ML went spastic with pleasure :DD
Did i mention my BK icecream? it's the most efficacious remedy to my deranged mind at the thought of MUGGING. Ms Lee will be proud of me haha

Well, through this whole day of absolute FUN and CRAZINESS and SUNTANNING,
I couldn't help but note the hunormous (haha word invented by ML) disparity between 4a and 5b.
Don't get me wrong, not that i detest 4a or anything, but 5b is really much more livelier and yea perhaps of the class size, it seems easier to communicate with everyone(besides how everything random word brings forth sick conversations and some ppl are horribly racist LOL)

Alrighty i am pissed by my parents' reactions to my face HAHAH

and my mum commented that at least my teeth appears whiter now.

Went to some ktv lounge at Chinatown WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO YOU PEEPS OUT THERE.
The place itself is kinda cool, you know those antique shop houses at Chinatown?
Yea the whole lounge is three stories high with many rooms catering for different number of ppl.
The best part is, it's only $10 for 2-7pm with free flow of drinks.
Yea next stop for kuku-kboxing kay hehe.

BK ice-creams are ♥

Just came back from Youth Entrepreneurship Symposium(YES) 2011!
The three days really drained the energy out of me, not that it's tiring but yep being out for the whole day just makes us lethargic.
But fortunately, YES! is definitely a worthy experience that provided me with much insights.
Ohmy. I think the USA trip inculcated in me the habit of writing reflections -.-
What is happening to me.
Haha yea as mentioned, YES! is actually very beneficial to us!
At least I think so.
Well, there were various motivational talks by some well-established entrepreneurs as well as youth entrepreneurs.

The youth entrepreneurs are AMAZING.
Some are as young as 18 when they started their businesses.
Some even 16 ._.
Did you know that the boss of The Blogshop started crafting his business ideas and established the company while he was still in JC??
The cool thing is that, while he was studying for a degree in economics, he actually didn't have to mug at all because all the theories that were tested was actually what he already is doing!
It's like a free A as quoted from him.
How awesome is that.

As for the motivational talks, hmm they were, to me, the same kinda stereotypical talks where they emphasize on the need to embrace failures etc etc.

Yet, we do not dare to venture.

Other then the talks, there was this competition called The 3min Pitch.
Basically, we are split into groups according to the industries we have chosen (F&B, Fashion&Design, Science&Technology, Entertainment and Socialsomething haha)
I'm sure it's not hard to guess what Jiarui and me chose ^^
Actually, the everyone in entre who signed up got into F&B LOL I wonder what this shows hahahahha
Okay so the point is, we have to come up with a real business plan of our own, and give a 3min presentation to judges who will play the roles of investors.
The final winner really receive investments as the price!
Each team competes with another in the same room, so one team will be eliminated on the spot!
The best things are,
1. They expect us to churn out something in just 1 day -.-
and
2. Out of 66 teams, my team had to compete with Heping's team 0: x100000000000

Call that fate or whatever haha.
Anw I think that our idea was seriously a super profitable one, though it may not sustain in the long run.
While at Marina Bay area during our industrial visits, I was suddenly thinking of Marina Barrage.
And it']s horribly limited number of food stores there which resulted in us having to go Jurong to fly kite tmr LOL
So! The idea came and it was like,
Establishing a DIY sandwich making cafe at the green rooftop, whereby customers can chose the ingredients they want and have a picnic outdoors!
Cause nowadays people find it much of a hassle to prepare them and it's so much more convenient like that.
Whee I loved my idea but it's too bad that we were eliminated LOL.
It was so close.
Initially, the judges voted A DRAW and they had to count scores to decide.
We only lost by 2 points!
haha but my group members, including me, wasn't really keen on winning so it wasn't very disappointing.

Anw, the most ultimate worst part of this whole this is having to wear FORMAL BUSINESS ATTIRE.
Like we all totally went WTS?! at that hahahahha so..........

Yes, the idea of owning our own business that we totally enjoy is enticing.
But I'm no risk taker. Nor someone with foresight.

Yesterday, or should i say today morning, something super hilarious/unfortunate/ridiculous happened to my family.

You won't believe my luck, seriously -.-

but then again, these kinda things always happen to me haha

If you had any bad movie experiences, trust me, it's non-comparable with mine.

Yepyep our family bought midnight show tickets for X-men first class!

At GV Tiong (here's the warning and advice to not go there for movies -.-)

So yea we went in the theatre and watched till around 30min ltr..

THEN.

The screen suddenly BLACKED OUT.

With the soundtrack still playing in the bg!

Originally, everyone thought it was part of the movie plot.

When we realised, huh, how come got sound but there's nothing on the screen, ppl started "OI"-ing and shouting LOL.

Someone shouted "OI SLEEPING AH!"

hahahahahha

We weren't pissed but a little annoyed.

Furthermore, it was a part where the action's gg on!

We could hear the sound effects like "AHHHH" when a man got stabbed and the sarcastic voice of a character!
haha ppl started entertaining themselves by "oooohhh"-ing along and"waa"-ing damn joke.
Of course, ppl went out to inform the staff and suddenly, the whole movie just repeated FROM THE START.
Like, from the advertisement part omgosh.
I have no.idea.why. they can't fast-forward the movie till where we were watching till.
ok fine, we were still feeling alright if the movie replayed BUT THEN, till like arnd 15min into the movie, IT BLACKED OUT AGAIN and the whole movie restarted. from the advertisements too waaaa.
Hahahha even worse, it didn't played fluently, kept blacking out during the advertisements too.
Till people can memorize the adds alrd seriously, like ppl kept singing "SYSTEMA~" lol joke.
Who knows if they paid GV more $ to do that -.-
Sooo..
Almost everyone in the theater couldn't stand it anymore and went out.
There was a group of ppl confronting and shouting at one of the staff ._.
Poor guy.
Our family just wanted a refund luhh haha and went to queueeeeee.
After we got our refund, we thought maybe we can reenter the theater to continue watching and true enough, the movie was still playing haha with a few ppl still inside but it was at a scene where we watched before alrd -.-
So we re-watched again loh.
Damn funny comment from a random guy **spoiler** "Walao, i watch his mother getting shot thrice alrd!!"
HAHHAHA same for us luh hahahha we all turned into sadists after watching the same killing so many times.
Ok this time the movie played ok fine but there were frequent flickering on the screen, like suddenly blacked out but after 5 seconds it returned to normal.
Everyone was like holding their breath and preparing to swear whenever that happened.
and a guy wailed "i wanna watch x-mennnnn!" haha cause we all very xin ji alrd.
Ok so we watch till like 50min.
THEN, the freaking movie blacked out again and this time the images didn't reappear!!
Good loh, seriously good loh we can't even finish the damn movie.
So we finally gave up and went home LOL.
Reached home at arnd 2+, the time that we supposedly should have finished the WHOLE movie.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hahahahhaha.

So guess what.
We went GV at great world city for the movie just now. what faithful supporters right, i know.
We just wanted to watch a complete movie.. with the nice effects that can nvr turn out nice in the com.
Watched the first 30 min of the movie for the 4TH TIME.
But at least, this time WE CAUGHT THE WHOLE FREAKING MOVIE WOOO.
So, never complain about how sucky the cinema you went to was.
Just rmb my experience ^^

Okay lah, abt the plot of the movie!
I think it was alright, like the special effects and actions were cool as usual, like the previous x men movies.
They always made me feel as if i'm a mutant with special abilities too after watching them LOL
Though a number of scenes were the cliche, "cool guy shoots villain down with perfect moves" that kinda stuff
The actors played their roles aptly too, they have the "Professor X" and "Magneto" aura^^
can memorize Professor X's 台词 alrd "A mutation originated from a single-celled organism.." blah blah haha
Yep, the movie was basically a prequel to the X-men movies that were screened.
Not bad, explained how things turned out the way it was now.
But quite little characters introduced this time, i think.
To think Magneto was so suave and muscular when he was young, it's unimaginable hahaha
And Mystic is a super flirt LOL watch it and you'll understand what i mean.
Felt like giving more spoilers but i want you guys to watch it so that we can discuss about it!! :D

what we used to be

HEYHO.
I'm supposed to be diligently working my ass off for GPP now.
But guess what blogger you managed to distract me again!
So yepp wanna do a proper update for the US trip.

Some of the more memorable moments for me^^

1. BEST PART OF THE TRIP

Going to an actual Broadway theater and catching the opera 'Phantom of the Opera'
I had special feelings towards this particular show cause i recall, it was actually the first movie that i fully understood and didn't ask my parents a bunch of questions after the movie.
And the songs are really superb, I mean even after say what >6 years, the tunes are constantly playing in my head.
A pity some didn't really appreciate the show cause of the confusing story plot.
But the movie explains much better, highly recommend you guys to watch it!

2. MOST UNFORTUNATE PART OF THE TRIP

Having zero visibility while on the observatory tower of the Empire State Building.
It's a great big pity.
Of all days, the fog got real heavy on that day and yea we practically see nothing!
But still, it's an experience and we had fun taking pictures with the clouds lol -.-

3. MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF THE TRIP

Making new friends duh! :D

I regret to say this but i can't find my buddy on facebook D:
Anyway, Ariana's from Iran! Her friends, the other two girls in the pic are Koreans.
We were actually talking abt K-pop there haha no joke.
It's a freaking cool school, Bergen County Academy. Or maybe it's just the American education system.
Everything's so much more liberal hai.
And here we are under an autocrat :/

Then GROUP 5 TEEHEE i think our group's the most outgoing and picture-loving one yea!

And of course, getting to know a huge bunch of new people, bonding together in a foreign land even when we barely knew who each other were.
Everyone's just too nice.
I'm starting to miss you guys!

Guess what i woke up at 4am today lol slap myself 1000000 times.

Reality finally settled in.
I've had an awesome trip.

Had splendid moments in a foreign land with the wonderful weather.
Saw many new sides of teachers, which i never knew existed.
Though some days may be unlucky for us, the trip's the best one i ever had.
It was tough to leave..but still life goes on and here i am back to suffer the hot weather.
At least i know here's a lot better than Qatar.
45 DEGREES how can the people even survive without getting roasted.

I guess it's time for a proper post.

This blog isn't even interesting with all the incoherent rants with no context that i dump here.

So often, we wanna speak our mind out, but yet we worry about offending people, teachers and even strangers.

Nowadays, it's useless things that preoccupy my mind.

I hallucinate a lot. Really.

And I think I'm over-sensitive about too many things.

Constraints exist and I can't pen down my actual thoughts in fear of offense, and even of losing close friends.

Everyone around me is gearing up for their SYFs.

Seriously almost all my friends.

By right, their commitments are definitely much more than me.

And yet, I keep thinking that my life's so burdening and i have no time.

Can somebody just smack me all over? Cause I need to wake up to reality. To realize I'm wasting too much of my own time. And it's time to do productive work, not just quantity.

So far, almost all my efforts have gone down the drain.

JC life just isn't so easy anymore. It's not like secondary school where I can just memorize a load of crap and regurgitate them.

It's really worrying. A person who's thinking is so rigid like me shouldn't have taken bio.

I'm just struggling like mad now. And it's not like tuition can solve my problem.

Then it's the trip. The trip. I'm supposed to be excited.

But i'm over-worrying again.

Cause i just feel that i don't deserve to be going on this trip.

It's too academic for me. And definitely too scien-cy.

My grades are like £%!£"%. How can i manage another project??

I really feel like I'm digging my own grave.

And the burning question that i consistently ask myself..

Why am i born so pessimistic?

People around me.. please don't hate me for being so depressing every time cause i just can't control myself idk why.

I moan, i whine, i complain, i know i'm irritating.

So here's an apology for my lousy attitude, whenever you see a dark cloud above me.

I'm trying to change. but sometimes, things just puts me off. like how i disgust myself with dumb thoughts that i shouldn't have borne if i was magnanimous enough.

I used to cry a lot. Like throughout the night. And it lifts things off my chest once in a while.

But now, it came to the point where my tears can only flow for a while.

Then nothing else comes out.

I scream into my pillow. I gouge on food. I swim. I talk. But somehow, the thoughts still haunt me. It's crazy.

Sorry to whoever that read through this whole chunk of crap cause i know i've wasted your time till now.

the dreams that never came true

What a failed April Fool's Day. There were practically no pranks how terrible is this! I only got to prank on Tian and Jiarui abt getting up late, which is so highly believable. Then at my grandma's birthday yesterday i pranked my aunt that i had a boyfriend when she asked if i have one. LOL. Other than those yesterday was just a plain stressful day as usual. haiyaya we all become so no life alrd. And there were terrible news. Like how Jiarui might not go for us trip T.T zzzzzzzzz freak the school system seriously it's so unfair to ppl who really needs the subsidy, and it's so inefficient! They actually asked us how much sub we want. like 100% duh? Anw.. Jiarui CHEER UP for all you know it's their idea of a sick joke -.- MUST STAY OPTIMISTIC K. I love today, Thank God It's Saturday! TGIF was faillll haha there's not even special activities for us. And we can't wear old pe D: I need a new bag!! it's time to construct

I OFFICIALLY DISLIKE OUR SCHOOL BLAZER.

Went to National CEP Dialogue today and i got so jealous of the chio blazers other school ppl were wearing lol.

There were blue, black and maroon(my fav!) ones with black elegant skirts but none with the OBIANG BRIGHT RED and childish white skirt our school has -.-

Come on it's not even National Day and i look like a patriotic over-sized student hahaha the paddy blazer just makes me look fat.

Ok enough ranting.

Wait i still have things to rant about.

It was kinda awkward there ._.

Cause i reached earlier than Qianyi and realised, hey the other youth journalists seem to know each other alrd, maybe through prior events.

And i have to stand there alone in this puffy suit.

You don't expect me to go over and talk enthusiastically right haha i'm not like ____.

Though there was a classy buffet for lunch reception, i couldn't eat much cause i was just so uncomfortable in that urgh suit.

Anyways the dialogue was surprisingly easy to understand and it really did make me ponder on how vulnerable Singapore is now to terrorism :/

On the up side, we're halfway done with the article!

We were supposed to write a commentary about how we think Singapore will react if a crisis happens, like that in Japan.

Journalists are really super effective, they attend the dialogue and poof one articles comes up just 1 hour ltr.

We have until tmr ._.

Somehow i feel efficient teehee and writing wasn't such a chore!

Only three words to describe this March Holidays
BUSY LIKE SIAO.
And i'm not exaggerating!

Sat & Sun: Passion Run CIP
hahhaha as you might have alrd know, this CIP is worth to the max *huge smile on my money face*
Freebies and cool volunteer tees make my day!

Mon: Family lunch and meeting with Mr Lam
Went buffet at the place where Mrs Yap held her wedding lunch!
It's super famous for its duriannnn dessert ♥
Then had to rush to Holland Village to meet Mr Lam and discuss abt what to write.
Everyone was late idk why so i walked arnd, almost got lost in some ulu shopping centre, went to rot in Wendy's while waiting for QianYi and Mr Lam.
And guess whatt he treated us to Milo :D which is like the cheapest drink in Wendy's but it's $2.30 -.- yess i still rmb the price. so thankyou Mr Lam!
Hai but i still feel that the school should have chosen a better candidate in gg for the CEP dialogue. cause i really have no innovation no matter how much you crack my brain up.
Nvmmm i shall try my very best.
I was so full from lunch that i didn't need dinner ^^

Tues: THE BUSIEST/SUAYEST DAY
Had a record woke-up-late-by-1hour episode that totally ruined my mood for the day.
Sorry to Tiantian and Jiarui. maybe it's heaven's will that we'll nvr have Mac Breakfast together :/
I didn't mind taking the cab. BUT what made it unworthy was the fact that there were people who arrived much (and i really mean MUCH) later for the Global Cast Workshop and the teachers don't seem to mind that anw
Greattt so i wasted $14.80. yess and i rmb that too -.-
So i was in a damn lousy mood and gave chou lian to ppl AND I'M REALLY SORRY FOR THAT, to Tian, Jiarui and Peiyin..
I shan't rant abt the bus stop cause now to think of it, i was stupid and blur us usual for not checking and whatever just treat it as exercise!
Left the earliest for Bio consultation, Ms Phuar was nice as usual and discussed abt study strategies.
It's so ironic of her to ask me whether i'm busy for the hols. thanks to Global Cast.
Dunno what i could do so i went library and saw Shieuhuei's prominent bag LOL and went JP with Wanxi who went there like twice that day haha.
THEN ECONS. ECONS ECONS TURNED THE WHOLE DAY ROUND YAY.
The class was screaming, ok maybe me only, when we saw our class there (gosh this is sounding as if we're getting back A's -.-)100% passes!!

Jiarui was in a daze cause she couldn't understand the slide LOL and we went high after that for PASSING ECONS YES!
Turned out econs was my best grade how ironic.
Hmmm went home and had family dinner at JUMBO :D

Editing was more fun then i expected!
Or maybe a new day and a new starting made Global Cast look fun.
Me and Peiyin almost died combining music for the 1.30min fighting scene horrible it was just horrible haha
Jiarui had to onemanshow aft Tian left and guess what her bloopers was the best, i repeat BEST and perhaps the only funny thing in the whole proj :x
Tian's name was huge and right smack there on the credits haha
And i finally had the time to do hmwk boy am i glad for that.

ohmy ohmy.

This week has been way too eventful for me to handle.

Shall enjoy myself now before embarking on the impossible mission of completing that horrifying thing called HOMEWORK.

Entre, entre, entre and still ENTRE.

That's all that occupied my mind this whole week.

It's as if everything's not of matter anymore and got pushed to the very rear of my teeny weeny mind.

I get plagued by messages everyday, maybe even every hour by someone whose name starts with the initials K and ends with Y.

I get haunted everyday by thoughts of sourcing, with $ signs swimming all over my vision.

I get onto the mrt back everyday when the sky looks like you've just boarded that train in the morning.

I'm not trying to say that entre's terrible, i'm trying to say that it's MUCH WORSE THAN THAT.

It gives you headaches and remorse.

Ok hard feelings, maybe it only applies to me.

But one thing's for sure, i really really like the ppl i work with.

lol sound as if there's alot of ppl -.-

Yea whatever we might be the most inefficient ppl in group 2 i admit that.

Still, it's because of Shieuhuei and William that i didn't lose my mind worrying about all that crap entre threw at us.

Cause their actions never fail to make me laugh no matter the circumstances.

I'm always the pessimistic one, a huge worrywart and i really can't handle stress.

So thanks so much for providing all the entertainment!

ok ok actually entre wasn't really that bad cause this freaky Valentine's Day rush really taught me a few lessons.

Like how we should have tried our very best when we had time and not procrastinate, if not people will just throw some sai gang job at you and expect you to complete in 4 days.

How we can turn a superbly failed piece of crap into a much better one with perseverance.

How i need not be so serious about things all the time and being a perfectionist. Cause things will never turn out totally the way you want it to be and it's okay to be complacent.

And how people can turn out really helpful, even if it was just for their own sake, despite all the negative stuff we hear about them. It made me realized they weren't so bad after all.

It seems like we are making more than group 1 (Y)

Maybe lots of credit goes to our 十全十美 Ms Phuar lol cause (i don't care if i repeated this alot of times teehee) she generously ordered class keychain for everyone in 5B!

Loads of profit from there.

So we're giving her a bunch of 10 pink flowers ^^ 10 flowers represents 'you are perfect' and pink means gratitude, if i'm not wrong.

Haiyaya i still feel that they shouldn't have split us into two groups in the first place.

It's inefficient and encourages segregation.

And doesn't give us opportunities to bond with the other members or seniors!

Anw highlights that still plants a smile on my face:

Hearing Shieuhuei and William reminiscing about their childhood times in Clementi and trying to deduce whether they were from the same kindergarten.

Me and Shieuhuei putting on an act in front of William so that she doesn't have to take the same train home with him.

Us again treating our beloved KOI like some drink worth $100.

Imagining gruesome scenes from murders and suicides that Mr Lam very generously recounted to us. Trying very hard not to puke.

Getting to know MeiLin's secret lol and suaning ppl.

Painting swear words on the sh*t-coloured pillars our dear seniors helped to paint.

'Whatzehell!'

Spotting the trend with Jiarui that every time we eat a BK meal, we see the advertisement on the mrt with the talking chicken telling us to eat it.

Rewarding ourselves extra 30min of break when we were supposed to be at lesson.

Designing our 5B keychain!

Analyzing what to have for dinner with Wanxi our "digress controller" banging the table with the deco paper.

Walking past Japanese Street thrice.

Wanxi's various cute actions and scoldings when she's pissed.

Randomly going through fb and finding out that Ms Yang gave birth alrd!! and the baby looks just like her and her hubby LOL uber chubby cheeks.

And finally sleeping into the late afternoon today with really the "sunlight burning down on my ass" just like what i've missed.

Alrighty time to face my nightmares.

Hoping that monday's gonna be more interesting being the real day.

The thing i hate most about Chinese New Year: Getting a freaking sore throat and not able to eat up all the remaining goodies.
D: yea having throat pain after stuffing myself with pineapple tarts!
They're my all time favourite.
Every year without fail, confirm i'll kena sore throat :/

Anw my first day for CNY was totally shit as hell sorry for swearing but really.
My mum got a headache cause i guess she was too busy the previous night with preparing steamboat for our family reunion dinner.
Nahhh ours wasn't a simple one for just our family but also got cousins, ahgong ahma and erm, relatives from China lol though it's my cousin's wife's parents.
so yeaaa my mum was in a damn sucky mood.
Didn't go my popo's house to bai nian i bet all the Malaysian relatives were shocked but went ahma's house in the evening without my mum.
Urgh her menopause is just nerve-wracking.

Second day much better though my mum's still bossy and all.
She practically shouted at all of us in the car luh
hahaha i bet your image of my mum's ruined.
Went popo's house finally, it's so quiet without the other relatives but i like it though,
Don't have to put on any fake smiles or worry about not having any topics to talk about.
Watched a movie called 初恋红豆冰 it's pretty funny but 心酸 luh.

I wanted to try out I love taimei but both shops were closed haii.
Oh oh stayed up in the night to catch My Girlfriend's a Cyborg which is superbb.
I remember attempting to watch it when sh and mw stayed over last year but uh we didn't catch the whole movie for some reason.

So it's boring today with church and all and with the terror of monday looming ahead.

Turned out all our candies sourced were not accepted except sticky which we have to package nicely what the shit or else they'll cancel the whole candy section.

Lesson learnt: The Internet is the suckiest place to search for local suppliers.
I desperately need an ice-cream tmr.

Ice-cream is my life and i'll nvr give it up.

Omgosh don't you feel that this week passed super fast??
It felt like i was still slacking on sun then *poof* it's sat again!
Here i am happily typing away when there's tons of work to do, like i care ^^
I nvr knew signing up for SG United Journalist's Club would mean entitlement to so much free stuff lol dollar signs popping up in front of my eyes.
Got a teddy bear for answering something that i randomly wrote down hehehe
The others who answered definitely listened more than i did like Jiarui and Wanxi
LOL SHIEUHUEI you referred to the booklet right!
But nonetheless, j and s won much cooler prizes, a self-(what, produce batt itself??) radio cum torchlight!!
Initially, i thought we went to the wrong workshop cause all the speaker talked abt was racial cohisiveness -.-
Favourite parts of it was when he shared personal encounters, especially when he mentioned the mortuary lol maybe someday when i walk past it i might bump into him.
Think i got some of the gist for writing hard news, soft news seem more personal leh

Anw, that aside, entre's terrifying me lol.
It felt that they just *PAH* slammed everything into our faces and suddenly we find ourselves requiring to source for prices.
I know it's a great experience but, why within such a short period of time?

what a bore

It's a tiring day.
Two meanings here.
I remember, how this was Juntang's most famous quote during Geog lessons and how Mr Chan will entertain this comment that i found irritating and amusing at times.
Now that they're both gone, this simple sentence kinda sends a chilling feeling.
I mean, not scary in that sense but somehow the feeling of parting, you know.
It's funny.
When it comes to separation, even the most notorious person resembles an angel.
NOT IMPLYING TO JT REALLY. just a general comment.
Well the other meaning applies to yesterday.
Being assigned to a more (sorry to say this) greasy and dirty house is definitely tougher for us but ofcourse, the sense of accomplishment is greatly multiplied, right Jiarui? :D
We managed to lift the stove and tada discovering great lumps of coal(i don't know what it's called actually) mixed with cooking oil underneath and scrubbed it considerably clean.
how stupid can we get, we took a before but no after photo -.-
Hopefully getting the group photo from Julia.
Then we rushed to RV Carnival/Learning Symposium.
Mostly all the presenters are year 5s and looking at them, i did feel a lack of achievement.
Sure i worked my ass off my projects but not many ppl know about them.
Maybe a platform like LS really is beneficial.
Btw the carnival was great, for me.
Loved the toilet bowl game haha Vivian, we're proud to be shooters!
Marked the end of that tiring day by walking home with the kukus and chatting about primary school ____s.

Yay first week of school's over.
Some thinks it's slow, i think it's kinda alright.
Every econs lecture, there's bound to be homework and math still seems horrible.
I want Ms Tan's hands. she can practically solve a problem within 5s.
Me? Maybe staring at the question for 10min probably doesn't makes a difference.
GP's officially my fav so far.
Cause i just adore the way Ms Lee talks. humorous though her facial expression's almost the same when she's making a joke.

lol i think he very paiseh and apologized to me. but i don't get what's there to apologize leh, it's not his fault that he did that and he didn't fall on us anw.
But the whole action was quite funny lah and was trying to hold my laughter.
We used hp to communicate lol then jr told me that HE DIDN'T ZIP HIS FLY!
I couldn't stand it anymore and kept laughing hopefully the poor guy doesn't know we're laughing at him cause i think it was minutes after that.

five different flavours, five different feelings

Today was kinda like that
Crunchy cause it was a new taste, like a new experience.
Sweet cause making friends was so easy with this class (except the guys).
Bitter cause of being unprepared for pe.
Ultra sweet cause most of the teachers were friendly and cared to know us better, a great big bonus point.
& sour cause one teacher doesn't seem to be very nice.
Started the day with me being the earliest among the kukus to reach.
Can you believe it haha. ok jiarui being late is plain believable but tian too!
Ms Elaine Phuar who was our form and bio teacher was super hyped up and all smiles in the morning, kinda creepy though.
She seem like the type who will scold you while still smiling sweetly at you.
Then GP.
Not bad worh, Ms Lee started the lesson off with intros, making us draw a picture that represents us.
And then her slides were cool, consisted of (idk what they're called ._.) but they were cool alright. like making you have many perspectives.
Wow chem lecture could totally make the best of today -.-
Oh no wait. Pe's the one.
They freaking made us run 6 rounds right on the first lesson.
At least we getta run with 5a ppl too haha.
Econs was -.- ttm Ms Tee just looks intimidating.

somehow, all fun comes to an end

明天就开学了.
These words nvr sounded so depressing.
I'm still feeling extremely indignant about it.
But i guess our batch is just suay luh. Shall not complain anymore.
At least this holiday was the best so far, i think.
Didn't felt like i wasted my time.
I've got loads to update about!
haha the countdown party was much much worse than what i imagined.
At least my job was.
I thought it would be damn slack since no one would dare trust teenager's skills at making popcorn but turned out the popcorn was supposed to be bloody FREE
urgh!
We had to make alot of batches first before giving out at 7.
Started arnd 4 and guess what, arnd 100+ bags of popcorn went *poof* in only half an hour.

And we ended the latest loh. like 11.40pm and it was only because we ran out of carriers.
Some kids were so disappointed lol.
Most RJC ppl were so jovial and fun but my group happened to consist of not so enthu ppl.
But my ics were nice ppl! they were the same couple(i confirmed this LOL) who held to gate open for us for so long at RJC.
oh then finally had the countdown and first person i gotta wish and hug was Shieuhuei hahaha quite funny.
Couldn't stand my sticky/stinky/honey/sweaty-ness wapiang seriously.

Hmmm then the next day i dyed back my hair!
Went my popo's house for steamboat ^^
Watched kungfu instead of epic movie which jiarui wanxi and lixin all talked about haha should have switched channel.

Sunday after church met up with lixin and wanxi.
Talked, ate my bk ice cream, went daiso and popular.
I kept complaining abt school reopen and lixin complained about having to go to work.

Now here i am rotting away.

Getting closer to ppl in 4A like Cheryl, Minghong, Likai and Xiuhui who i sat near with. then Zoenin who randomly became my running partner and Chenxi(only in the virtual world). and Vivian who's my cca mate now!
But unfortunately, hatred also deepened lol i dunno how to phrase and i guess it will continue next year too? oops hopefully not though.
For my family, i actually felt that my dad quitting his job had more pros than cons.
Last time mostly what he took notice of were the important matters like work and bills.
And my mum often complained that he like mu tou, don't care abt the stuff at home like not opening windows and all haha.
But now, my dad has more initiative like turning on the lights when it it's getting darker, asking me abt school work and my future, closing/opening the windows when it rains or when we come back home, boiling the water, turning on the fan, folding the clothes etc

I also got closer to my brother cause we talked more and i suppose cause he got himself a gf lol.
My mum, her moodswings just got worse cause of menopause i guess. it's really a terrible stage to go through with mums soooo i have to ren nai lah!
Oh. the thing i feel most guilty is that this is the year i spent the most.
Like almost every time i go to a shopping centre, i purchase something.
So hopefully, i'll manage my $ more wisely next year.
I guess the worst thing that happened was the disappointment we all felt when the UK trip was cancelled. yea i know i shouldn't rant again so yea i'm not gg to.
I believe next year we'll have another chance at that.

My dad came across this fancy jap restaurant but there was this lunch special,

Ok so today me, sh and mw went Junction8 for lunch before heading to RJC for countdown briefing.
We totally got scammed by Yoshinoya damn you.
haha hopefully sh talks abt it, it'll be so much funnier :D

Actually we sought of alrd decided to buy food from some jap stall that looked kinda unreliable.
So when mw(i think?) suggested gg Yoshinoya, we wanted to try it cause we thought it was affordable.
Then we go search for that bloody store and saw a student meal poster outside which was tempting yea and there was a lychee drink provided.
ok the bad things.
When we ordered sh's choice, haha if forgot how to spell, the waiter, who was i think only arnd our age, went huh? ka what?

how can you dunno what's on the poster?? so nvm sh and mw both ordered Salmon then.
After that, she asked us our choice for drinks. and told us that the machine for soft drinks was down so we can only order others that required additional chargers, like 30cents and 50 cents ones. so i asked, eh which are the ones that are 30cent? then she replied she not sure again -.-
in the end we tio the 50cents one.
ok fine but when our food came, sh and mw's salmons turned into terriyaki chicken wapiang.
Lucky the food was fulling and nice if not damn waste money.
haha sh even filled in a feedback form, complained like #@%^#&

i was kinda worried at first cause didn't know where to walk but suddenly, two RJ ppl popped up in front of us so we followed loh.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Spent the morning babysitting my niece.

Wapiang, she's damn hyper and loud one, when we went TiongBahru Plaza, she'll just run around so i had to chase after her and carry her away that kinda stuff.

Then in Bengawan Solo, she kept shouting "Papaaaaaaa" and "Mamaaaa" so all the aunties were like cooing at her damn funny.

Wanna laugh and shut her mouth at the same time.

I could even sweat in that air-conditioned place gosh.
That time muscle ache from shopping, now muscle ache thanks to her lol
Oh and what i rmb most abt yesterday is eating until very full.

Went swimming with PengCheng on monday!

I'm always in a shitty situation when swimming complexes we wanted to go aren't open -.-

So we had to go Safra instead.

And then yesterday was shopping/mostly eating in Malaysia!

First time taking bus there, not bad lah but the custom have to walk very long zz

Ate Kenny Rogers gosh so much cheaper there! (i think)

Though they sell diff variety bah.

The set we ate consisted of one muffin, 1/4 chicken and 3 side dishes, for only arnd S$6.60!

just summarizing the creepy stuff that happened in 3 points.

1. I almost got murdered by a 10cm metal thingy that i kicked on cause it pierced through my flats. yea made a hole -.- was saved by the thin insole layer.

2. The park where 4a flew kite is dominated by foreign workers at night :x ~~no offence but it's scary cause we can't really see them~~ and many were checking Jiarui out urgh omg goosebumps popping out again

it's the season, where fun is a must

Quick update before i go Marina Bay Sands wakaka but i'm not staying overnight luh

These three days were great, cause finally i'm not stuffing my head with dramas, dramas, and dramas -.-

Monday went Xinhua's house for pool!

With Jas, Bella, Yifei and Songning.

Lots of silly things and actions hahah and the "freeball" team was established lol

Finally played badminton also ^^

Hai i realised how much i've missed it. and i hate the cca for ever allowing me to resent playing it.

There was when somebody called Yifei abt class allocation.

And everybody was getting damned hyped up (ok except Jas) and shouting "Xinhua! your com damn lag please!" haha quite a funny scene.

I remember, two years ago around the same time, we were all at 2L's chalet and Yifei was on the line with Xinhua, reading out all our classes.

The feeling's kinda 温馨. It's like though we're separating, knowing where we will head on in the future and being together one last time as a class is great. i could feel everyone's 不舍 for friends who weren't gonna be in the same class (like myself boohoo).

So i was glad that i was around with the same bunch of ppl this time.

Then yesterday was Mdm So's (LOL) farewell party.

It was the first time i paid so much attention to her ._.

It might be too late but i think i was lucky enough to find out she really has a cute laugh and a cheerful personality.

Tian and Shieuhuei, sorry that i kept complaining that i didn't wanna go, but it turned out alright haha at least i didn't regret gg.

After that was movie @ Wanxi's and monopoly too.

Fav was KingCross's station!

OK Jiarui practically owned the game it was like every turn, someone will tio her property.

Do you guys know that the Seoul Garden at ehub is like Sakae, we order food from the com and don't needa go take.

Turned out my cousin was too full so i ordered 4.

'Hello Stranger' IS DEFINITELY A MUST WATCH.

yea underlineitalicsboldcaps and everything, seriously!

It's a Thai movie, bet filmed mostly in Korea.

i was like "hey! i went here before!" haha for 2 scenes so happy.

first time watching one in cinema haha

and first time watching one so impromptu-ey.

never even saw the trailer before.

And didn't even know it was one until the woman at the ticket booth told us it was one LOL cause Lixin thought it was korean.

Hmmm a little about the plot. but not too much if not spoilers for your who ~~might wanna~~should definitely catch it!

This Thai guy, who was supposed to be on tour to Korea sought of got pang-sehed when he missed his coach at the hotel.

So he followed this Thai girl, who he bumped into(ok not really it was funnier), around Seoul, visiting some of the Korean drama serial shootout sites.

and it was fun watching the pair of them go crazy in a foreign country and talk to each other in a way that even friends can't cause normally we have to think of their feelings.

The most unique part is, they don't know each other's name throughout the time spent together, even when the parted ways when the guy found his ex in the end.

the thing i like abt the movie is how joke the actors are, like really very kai fang and natural.

The guy being a jerk and all and the girl being crazy.

And it's alot like Singapore, i mean the Kpop fanatic stuff, like the mentioning of alot of bands like wonder girls, 2pm and familiar movies/dramas like coffee prince and 冬季恋歌!

It's just super 搞笑 and sweet.

of course, there's sick humour and all but the main characters nvr do much lah only got kiss ^^

The ending's unexpected too :D not like usual movies.

teehee. one small movie cheered me up tremendously.

Haha she was shocked that i was there and in the end we came to Tiong to catch that fabulous movie cause JP's timing too late.

I'm so damn grateful for her.

If things hadn't turned out this way, i could still be wallowing in self-pity right now, unable to go to sleep.

hehee, in a festive mood now?

3 more weeks to Christmas!
so, i shall post Christmas related icecream pics from now onwards ^^

this week of my life was like drama zz

Terrible things happened in the family.

But the coziness of talking with friends whom i seldom contact totally made up for it.

On tuesday, after like seriously 2 years, i finally had an outing with my 2L clique.

Lol i bet i haven't posted abt them for months.

yea, we were all sought of lazy to organize one and all us 3 being in different classes didn't help at all.

but nvm skip the guilty part and on to the fun part!

Played pool at Xinhua's house LOL FREE ONE HAHA

Me and Jaslyn were saying that we're utilizing her family's maintainance fee to the fullest use since their family rarely go play.

haha next time want pool with them don't need spend $ liao :D

Since it was raining, didn't had the chance to play badminton.

Which i haven't since i stopped turning up for trainings -.-
Went Cheers (damn cool the condo inside have one) for snacks and went upstairs to chatt

Actually it was a GO-FOR-2L-CHALET persuasion by me to the 2 stubborn ppl.

zzzzzzz no matter how hard i tried to reason with them and plead they wouldn't bulge

hai Xinhua nvr did went for any chalets her whole life i really can't imagine why she don't even wanna try.

~~i think the reason why we drifted apart is cause our mindsets are so different bah~~

i wasted my saliva lahh haha ended up chalet cancelled.

Went for shooting after that.

Tried pistol for the 1st time LOL TOTALLY SUCKED AT IT.

I can shoot 20 pellets and only freaking 6 landed on the target card and i'm not even talking abt the black portion mygosh.

Sealed my fate with rifle i guess.

hahaha then dinner with Vivian and Xiuyun, Vivian talked abt Japan trip so cool luh!

Yesterday was the best day hahaha like duh hanged out with my oldest friends :D

the morning was really terribleterribleterrible ttm

1. it was raining like nobody's business.

2. Lixin told me she just woke up, 30min before our meeting time.

3. Kialuck could only join us later cause she got something to do in the morn.

4. called Wanxi when i was at tiong and she told me she was with Lixin, which meant they're still in jurong

so..... i was there alone and thinking since soyabean coupons expires the next day i decided to eat the icecream in an attempt to brighten my own moody situation.

ok enough of emo part.

Marina Barrage was smaller then i expected please.

haha the facilities there (ok wait there aren't any for goodness sake only the basics like toilets and an ex cafe) were ok luh clean and all but mostly just self-entertainment.

It was still drizzling when me Lixin and Wanxi reached so who cares we decided to fly the kite in the rain!

LOL ok some jokes abt Wanxi's kite.

It's coloured to look like a Sun that wears sunglasses.

When it flew up into the sky, the real sun really emerged HAHA

and then Wanxi told me last time when she was flying it, it got entangled with another kite.

The owner went "See lah, ask your kite don't wear sunglasses lah, it cannot see."

DAMN JOKE PLEASE.

the rain got heavier so we moved downstairs for our pathetic picnic which consisted of luncheon meant, hotdogs, nuggets, bread and chips.

definitely worse than those sh, mw and tt had haha.

But nvm it was great for us ^^

The place we sat was directly below the direction board and in full view of ppl entering Marina Barrage so yea everyone was staring at us :D

some other group copied us hahaha and sat down on the floor too.

Kialuck came and after lunch we went to this exhibition there ehhh not very interesting.

then the rain stopped!

both our kites had our chances of entangling with ppl's cause the place is totally flooded with kite-flyers -.- you walk 5 steps can hit ppl liao.

once, mine got entangled with 3 kites all together and some indian guy ran through my string and it broke zz

oh! before that a little kiddo by the name of Desmond started approaching random strangers and came to me and Kialuck also.

OHMY just now after training, there was this aunty giving out mr beans coupons
And when i saw that soyabean icecream's $1 with coupon omgosh persuaded Xiuyun to buy immediately lol
She also don't like soyamilk. but liked the ice cream!
Who want go eat tell me :D i still have coupon
Training was painful but i loved my shooting today!
Loads of grouping = alot of shots together = consistancy!
but then the bloody rifle was so heavy that my skin 破皮 -.-
Watched HP yesterday and the only comment is, i was dissapointed.
Anw, let's go out let's go out.
The only things i'm looking forward is maybe outing with primary school gang and 2L chalet.
I want more! i'm a greedy person yes!

8 days have gone. I wondered what those who stayed in Singapore did.

Really thank Jiarui's 阿姨 and 姨丈 alot of providing the accomodation, having to stand my messiness (jiarui finally saw my true side) and paying for most of my meals :x
They're all saints in my eyes haha.
Ofcourse and thanks to Jiarui, Jianuo and 仔仔! for being my source of entertainment lol.
The amusement parks were superb with them there and the dog, ok you are the most unfriendly dog i've ever met LOL but it's compensated with your cute looks alright.
Yay i hope i getta go somewhere cool with more friends next time ^^

i shall write a quick post abt chalet before i go to lala land in case i forget the details!
not gonna rant abt the terrible moments and weird ppl bleah.
instead of recounting stuff like i know Shieuhuei will, since she describes so funny, i shall express gratitude to some ppl who made a great difference and make chalet fabulous! ~~like real LOL jk jk~~

FAVORITE PART WAS SPOT THE DIFFERENCE AND CHARADES LIKE DUH.

Training was !#%@!^ ya no other words can describe it that well.
Today = waste paper and pellets day.
Don't wanna spend my time recounting those terrible things so straight to the funniest thing that happened today!
Tian and Jiarui i found someone else who's as kuku as me LOL
It's actually my fault lah heh
damn stupid i still can't believe we did that.
After training me and Peijia were grumbling abt a certain woman and the cca's organisation and just took 187 when it came.
But then after some time we were like, eh why never see this place before ah?
Then bus driver told us westmall pass very long alrd zzz and i had to alight.
It was actually quite cool it was Jaslyn's house's bus stop!
stupid i took back 187 from the opposite again and the indian bus driver talk until i hardly understand oops haha but he very nice lah
Then Peijia suddenly sms-ed and say she at woodlands, i was like what the hell isn't the bus supposed to go back jurong??
LOL and that time i freaking saw Hometeam NS again.
At first i still thought, eh Bukit Batok got another Hometeam NS meh??
And then it hit me. we freaking took the bus in the wrong direction zz!
It wasn't even our first time lol hopeless Peijia next time we cannot go home together with only the two of us.
Was smiling to myself on the bus like a crazy idiot lah wasted so much time and $$

First up, the day before my brother went NS aka ICECREAM FIESTA!
